There’s no ‘I’ in team – until something goes wrong…
The team mentality’s a great motivational tool for companies.
It’s a positive way to encourage enthusiastic commitment to a larger purpose (the company’s success).
Yet the true test of a team is when things go wrong. In sports, it’s the most important time for a team to work together.
But, despite platitudes to the contrary, in business the focus is more often on singling out someone for the blame. It’s a fine line between accountability and scapegoating.
How well does your team perform?
See you next week.
