Sure, it sounds like morale boosting crap, however…
When you think about it, call centre staff are the face and personality of a company. They have that all-important direct contact with their customers.
These staff are the front line in any company’s struggle for the dollar in the marketplace.
And every day, they’re ordered to charge the turkish guns at Gallipoli (metaphorically speaking). There’s not many callers ringing to tell them ‘hey that product’s great! Good job!’
At least they’ve got the automated system and hold music to deflect some of the machine gun fire.’
